Hello! Would you like to learn how to make video games, but don't know a thing about coding? Or do you know some coding, but would like to use it to make some actual video games, in one of the most popular game engines, Unity? Well then you're welcome to come make your first 2D video game in Unity!
We are going to be making a simple, 2D platformer game that will teach you the basics of script writing, object-oriented programming, and more! Even if you feel intimidated by programming, don't worry! I did too! I will make sure to explain everything in an easy to understand way, and you'll be making games in no time.
WHAT TO BRING: Before coming to this workshop, be sure to closely follow the instructions in this video to correctly download and install Unity Hub and the
latest version of Unity, on to a laptop:
