Interactive workshop by Cesar Becerra: Historian, Author, Artist and self-proclaimed Rebel. This workshop will cover Large Scale Installation With A Message, beginning with how to inspire students to “step outside the mold” and be artistic rebels. Across the country, artists have been pushing the envelope outside the contained and measured walls of galleries and museums. Contemporary Art and Kamikaze Art are both happening and your students can attack it too! Big emphasis will be placed on constructing with recycled or free materials and the elasticity of Andy Warhol’s famed quote “Art is what you can get away with!”
